Finnish & Nordic Winner Helsinki

I had been years since my last trip to Finland, not since the fantastic week in summer of 2001 with 4 crazy days of showing in the Helsinki area, at that time the show dogs were Rizla and Dash... This time I was showing Jou Jou a grand daughter of Dash, also our young Dealer came along.
My dear friends Jan and Anette took the long journey by car and ferry with all the dogs and I flew in, landed late friday evening where Jan picked me up at the airport- 15 min. later we were having wonderful redwine in the hotel room.... Wonderful - unfortunately we were talking to much and it became late before we realized we had to get up soon and head to the show grounds...... only a few hours sleep.
Fantastic show grounds and I am just impressed with the Finns- the sure know how to put on a show...... Such an inspiration.!!!!

Day 1 was the Finnish Winner show with a total entry of 8600 dogs !
Pulis were judged by Mr. Boris Spoljaric from Croatia, a new judge for me- always exciting !! Quite a good entry 24 blacks and Mazkos Fako 5 whites.
Dealer was first in the ring a junior class with an entry of 6, I was really happy he went 2nd. with an excellent award, he was 4th best male, not bad for such a youngster.
Jou Jou took breed and became Finnish & Nordic Champion as well as Finnish Winner 09 what a blast...

Then she went on to win the group 1 !!!!!!!!! and took an impressive BEST IN SHOW 4th.

This girl has had a fantastic year 7 group 1s in 5 different countries and a group 3rd at Crufts - Best Of Winners at the Puli Club of Americas National Specialty.
She is Top Puli in England & Sweden 2009.

Day 2 was The Nordic Winner show, Judge was Jozsef Hodosi from Hungary.
Dealer won Junior class and became Nordic Junior Winner 09
Jou took breed again, made the shorthcut in group but didn´t place.
