Another week-end and another dogshow...
This time I went with our fantastic friend from Sweden, Steffan arrived in Haslev friday around 18.00 with Rya - aka Ch Bubbleton Hot N Spicy. Marianne stayed hope supervision the rest of their shaggy gang, as did Klaus !!
At 20.00 we had enjoyed Klaus´s homemade Pizza and the car was loaded.
Jou Jou her son Rya and the young Englishman Dealer was the team for the week-end.
We drove all night, well- Steffan did most of the driving- THANK YOU, and arrived at 6.00 in the morning, walked the dogs and had a powernap in the car, before they opened the gates at 8.00
There were 8 pulis for judge Mrs. Christiane Bröcker from Luxembourg.
First in the ring was Dealer in Junior, he had been a little overwhelmed by all the constant barking from the horrible Kuvasz , but once he was on the carpet in the ring, he was full of confidence and charmed the socks of Mrs. Bröcker, who in return made him a Junior Luxembourg Champion !!! Fantastic.
Then it was time for Rya in Champion class - Stefan did a superb job handling and it paid off, CACL & CACIB BOS and he could add Luxembourg Champion to his growing list of titles!! WELL DONE, we are SO proud of you.

Jou Jou allready a Lux Ch was BOB and later in the afternoon she also won the group!!!!!! AMAZING - her 3rd. group win in 3 different countries in just 5 weeks..
Due to work commitments I simply couldn´t stay for BIS, and in my book there are very few valid excuses for not being present in the BIS line up, so I was extremely happy when Tina & Tonny said they would be only happy to take her in and bring her home to Denmark, they were showing their stunning terriers anyway on the sunday!! THANK YOU - Friends like you are far between !!!

Wales

On August 20th. we loaded the gear into the car and set the course to Kington in Wales, and truly beautiful small village - with scenery that would fit very well into an episode of Midsommer Murder !!
Even the church bells playing in the evening made me expect to see Insp. Barnaby come strolling down the streets... He didn´t though...
We met up with dear friends Jacki & Pete Evans, John & Mary Whitton and Izzy Butler with husband Richard at the small village Hotel for a nice dinner, were also Kathrine Knight and Leslie Cook joined the party.
Saturday was show time, our breed was judged my well known Mr. Frank Kane, he had a nice entry of 30 Pulis.
It was magnificent to witness John showing Leo to his 3rd. and magic CC giving him his UK title, so well deserved. CONGRATULATIONS to both breeders and owners of Ch. Zaydah Don´t Stop Me Now at Vaucluse.
Jou Jou did us extremely proud winning her 2nd. CC and BOB.

The Pastorale group as it is called in the UK is very different to our FCI group 1.
It really is strange standing next to a Samoyed in group, though some of the other groups are even more strange in our ”FCI Eyes”
Mrs. M Purnell-Carpenter was judging her first ever Pastoral group, and she gave the top spot to our show stopper Jou Jou

This fantastic win had us change our travel plans so we could stay for BIS on the sunday, checked into the hotel again, and had a smashing fishNchips dinner in John & Mary´s caravan....
